About Us
Our mission is to inspire middle school and high school girls alike to pursue engineering and other STEM fields. Our program teaches students how to code in Scratch and Python, as programming becomes an increasingly useful skill for the future. We also invite speakers to our sessions to discuss multiple fields within engineering, allowing our students to learn more about what they want to do growing up.

Our Program
We run two programs in from January to March and April to June. The first program in winter teaches students the basics of programming in Scratch and is directed at middle school students. Our second session in the spring teaches students about programming in Python and includes intermediate content. It intended for older middle school and high school students.

outreach
We are in contact with many middle schools and high schools in the Bay Area, where we encourage girls to attend our sessions (for free!). Students who don't attend schools contatced by SWE++ are still encouraged to sign up for our program. We open registration in the winter time around December, so keep an eye out for it on our website or social media sites!
